Laura E. Cooper - portraitLaura is a graduate of Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, PA, where she excelled in legal writing and argument. She is a certified collaborative law practitioner, mediation practitioner, and civil arbitrator with over 300 hours of alternative dispute resolution training. Her primary areas of practice are in corporate representation, contracts, business and real estate matters.

Attorney Cooper is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and Berks County Bar Association. She is active in the arts and community affairs of Reading, Pennsylvania.  Attorney Cooper is founder of the Louis Long Gallery, serves on Board of Directors for the City’s Downtown Improvement District, and is the Solicitor for the Reading Symphony Orchestra.

Attorney Cooper also founded Cups of Compassion in 2010, a non for profit organization which serves the homeless and needy on the City streets around Christmas time, bringing hundreds of community volunteers together to serve in One Act of Compassion.  This amazing event has provided goods, services, care, and hope to over 12,000 individuals and families since its inception and is now operating under the direction of a Board of Directors.
